Tips to Extend Battery Life on Your Phone

One of the biggest power drainers on your phone is the screen brightness. By reducing the brightness level, you can significantly extend your battery life. Consider using auto-brightness or manually adjusting it to a lower level.

2. Turn Off Background App Refresh

Many apps run in the background and refresh their content regularly, consuming battery power. Disable this feature for apps that you don’t frequently use or that don’t require real-time updates.

3. Limit Push Email

Push email notifications constantly sync with your email server, draining power. Change your email settings to fetch new messages manually or at longer intervals to reduce power usage.

4. Disable Location Services

Apps that use location services, such as maps or weather apps, constantly access your GPS and drain your power. Disable location services for apps that don’t require it or only enable it when necessary.

5. Close unused applications to avoid battery drain

Running multiple apps in the background consumes  power. Close apps that you’re not actively using to prevent unnecessary power drain. On some devices, you can use the task manager to force close apps.
